What’s Happening?


If you are a school student or teacher, why not convince your school to get a circus skills teacher out for some workshops.  That way, you can start up your own circus group at school!

A good starting point for W.A schools is Suitcase Circus. They are specialists in Circus-In-Education and know their stuff!

WHATS HAPPENING CirquestWith HQ in Burswood and satellite programs around Perth, these guys offer classes through the week as well as school holiday programs including general circus skills, acrobatics and aerial skills for children and adults.


WA Circus School

WHATS HAPPENING WA Circus SchoolBased in Fremantle, W.A, these guys offer classes through the week as well as school holiday programs including general circus skills, acrobatics and aerial skills for children and adults.



WHATS HAPPENING KineticaThese guys are a performing arts company and circus school based in Malaga. They offer circus skills workshops to youth aged 5yrs – 17yrs.



Hyde Park, Mt Lawley – Tuesday nights from 7.30pm

UWA Juggling Club, Crawley Campus, Friday afternoons 1pm – 5pm

WHATS HAPPENING UWA Juggling ClubThis group meets on James Oval (right in the middle of Crawley Campus) at UWA (University of Western Australia)


Perth Juggle Meet, Northbridge, Sundays 3pm – 6pm

This group meets at Hyde Park, Northbridge.


Perth Unicycle Club

If you live in Perth and you love to ride your unicycle then www.perthunicycle.com  is the place to visit.

This will give you information on weekly unicycle meets around Perth, Perth cycle maps, where to purchase your unicycle, where to learn how to ride one, traffic regulations, links to other circus groups plus a forum where you can chat to other unicycling enthusiasts, compare uni’s and share advice

SpunOut Festival

WHATS HAPPENING Spun OutThis is Perth Fire Group’s annual fire and circus skills workshop weekend. The event is open to anyone wanting to have a go at fire and circus arts and caters to all levels of skill, from beginners to professional performers.

Fremantle Street Arts Festival

WHATS HAPPENING Fremantle Street Arts FestivalEvery Easter, the streets of Fremantle are filled with over 100,000 eager punters who come to marvel and wonder at the annual WA Buskers Festival (known officially as the Fremantle Street Arts Festival – apparently ‘Buskers’ is a dirty word!)
