Rings are a popular juggling prop, often used in combination with balls, clubs and other props. They can be juggled, flipped and spun in various combinations and look spectacular on stage (but only from the side. A front-on view of a ring juggler can be very boring – try it!) Ring juggling is easier than clubs, but harder than balls and often used for high numbers juggling.
DID YOU KNOW?
The record for the most rings juggled (where each ring is thrown and caught at least twice) is 10 rings for 47 catches (Anthony Gatto, 2006) and for the most rings flashed (where each ring is thrown and caught once) is 13 (Albert Lucas, 2002).
